Cyberspace Security College of Northeastern polytechnical University of Technology was founded on June 27, 2018. Founded on January 12, 2011, the Academy is the fourth state Secrecy academy in China and the only one in the western region. At the same time, the National secrecy education and training base xi 'an branch was formally established. The university has built two academies of cyberspace security and state secrecy as one entity. Aiming at the strategic needs of national cyber space security and confidentiality, relying on engineering background, the college has established a talent training system with military characteristics, clear direction and complete levels. The college will be built into a national network security and confidentiality education base, discipline construction base, scientific research base and on-the-job training base.

In recent years, the college has undertaken various scientific and technological projects such as the National Information Security Special Project, the pre-research of decoration and development, the National Natural Science Foundation project, the Science and Technology Commission of the Military Commission, the Ministry of State Security and the State Administration of State Secrets Protection, 6 provincial and ministerial scientific and technological awards, 5 monobooks and textbooks, over 400 papers and over 50 invention patents. It has also added national and provincial scientific research platforms, such as "National Engineering Laboratory for Integrated Big Data Application Technology of Air, Space and Sea" and "Shaanxi Provincial Engineering Laboratory for Cyberspace Security". A representative direction is formed: hardware system security verification and vulnerability detection; Intelligent information confrontation based on big data; Artificial intelligence security; Secure memory series encryption chip technology; Internet of Things security, unmanned system security, industrial control system information security research.

Xi 'an Sub-base College, the National Secrecy Education and Training Base, was established at the same time. In 2013, it began to provide professional training on secrecy for the State Administration of State Secrets Protection, provincial and municipal State Secrets Protection administrations, military enterprises, public institutions, the military and other units, such as cadres, secret-related personnel, and "three members". It has established a curriculum system of confidential technology, confidential management, comprehensive quality, offensive and defensive practice, and visiting practice, and established a team of lecturers with well-known scholars, confidential front-line experts, and confidential administrative management experts as the core, thus forming a professional, standardized, and professional confidentiality education and training system. There are 11 training sessions every year, with a scale of about 1000 people per year. By December 2019, there have been 76 training sessions with about 5,400 participants.

The Shaanxi Province Secrecy Education and Training platform was established by the Joint Institute of Shaanxi National Administration of State Secrets Protection at the end of 2017. It undertakes rotation training for provincial management cadres and provincial management cadres (over 2,000), as well as training for cadres of party and government organs (over 30,000) and military secret-related personnel (over 200,000). The platform mainly includes four functional areas, such as exhibition area of secrets theft and disclosure cases, demonstration area of secrets theft technology and disclosure channels, confidentiality education warning viewing area and online examination area. Up to now, 25,204 people have been trained in rotation, including 2,150 middle and provincial management cadres. Members of the Standing Committee of shaanxi Provincial Party Committee came to study on the platform on November 23th. Leading officials of the provincial government, provincial CPPCC, Provincial People's Congress and Municipal Party Committee came to study on the platform in December, and all spoke highly of the platform.
